May Fails To Bring Cheer for Tollywood

Last Updated on by

Telugu Film Industry has completed another month, and the result has been once again disappointing. Several releases have come before the audience, but not even one film is a big hit. Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi released this month. The movie gained the advantage of the summer holidays and minted good money, but still, the film is a loss venture in some areas.

Other notable releases – Allu Sirish’s ABCD, Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas’ Sita, Vishwak Sen’s Falaknuma Das, have bitten dust badly. Dubbing films like Suriya’s NGK and Tamannah – Prabhudeva’s Abhinetri 2 also failed to impress the audience. Several small films like Nuvvu Thopu Raa, Naga Kanya, Lisaa, etc. could not even garner the attention of the audience. That sums up that May has been disappointing for Tollywood and it has to be seen how June pans out.
