Too Much of Tamil Flavour in Jai Simha?

With Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavaasi garnering a negative talk, all eyes on Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Jai Simha releasing on Friday. Everyone is curious to see if Balayya will be the Sankranthi Hero this year. But then, sources in Filmnagar are not so hopeful about the film. We are told that the movie is a mixture of Balayya’s Previous Blockbusters – Samara Simha Reddy and Narasimha Naidu. But the film suffers from too much of Tamil flavor due to the association of Tamil director, KS Ravi Kumar. We are told that only relief from the audience is from Brahmanandham’s comedy which worked here and there. Buzz is there is a lot of sentiment in the second half but then it did not work we are told. If Jai Simha also fails to work out at the box office, it will be a disappointing Sankranthi for Telugu audience and trade.
Jai Simha had registered the Pre-Release Business of 38.5 Crore including all for the producer, C Kalyan. The Worldwide theatrical rights alone costs 27 Crore. The movie has to collect 27 Crore Share to be a Hit Venture and anything below 18 Crore Share is termed as a Flop. If at all, the movie has got a decent talk, it is so easy to recover the amount during the festival season due to the holidays’ advantage.
