Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Spyder has completed its run at the box office and has incurred heavy losses to everyone involved in the movie trade. Mahesh Babu truly believed this film and is confident of its result. So, this result has come as a big shock for him. The movie almost 50% of the investment on it. According to the norms of Tollywood, the leading hero and the movie’s director have to return some amount to the producer to bear the losses.
Mahesh Babu is giving back nearly 5 Crore to the producer but Murugadoss is not at all interested. Murugadoss is basically Tamil director who occasionally directs films in Telugu and Hindi languages. Since he doesn’t belong to Tollywood, he is keen on skipping the rules of Telugu cinema. The director is gearing up to direct a movie with Tamil superstar Vijay. This will be his third film with him after ‘Thupakki’ and ‘Katthi’.
On the other side, Mahesh Babu resumed the shooting of his next film, Bharat Ane Nenu recently. With Spyder, four out of the last five films of Mahesh Babu have ended up as disasters. Only Srimanthudu helped him save face. Now, all hopes are on Bharat Ane Nenu which will release for Ugadi the next year.
