Negligent Stars Taking Buyers From Granted?

Last Updated on by

Can we find any similarity between Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Spyder and Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavaasi? Both the films have ended up as the biggest disasters of all time in Telugu film industry. Besides that, there is one more similarity, they are the films for which the entire team including the heroes have taken zero care of the movie promotions after their release. Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan have simply disappeared after the movie talk came out. As a result, the trade is completely letdown. Promotions may have certainly helped to at least minimize the losses. Even for the hit films, our stars do not publicize their films aggressively like their counterparts in Bollywood or Hollywood.
Even the stars of Kollywood promote their films intensely. The best example is right in front of us. We have seen Suriya taking a success tour for his Gang which helped increase the collections of the movie in the festive season while Pawan Kalyan did nothing for Agnyathavaasi and allowed it to die a natural death. Our Stars seems to be concerned only till they complete their shoot and pocket their remuneration. Trade is saved if the talk is good and if it is negative, all those involved in the trade are finished. Things are almost same for years together and expecting a change may be a took much of ask.
