As we reported earlier Central Board of Film Certification has sent the film’s censor application back claiming that it was not filled completely. Now Due to the delay in Central Board of Film Certification, the film has been postponed.
Viacom18 Motion Pictures who is one of the producers has issued a statement that they were voluntarily deferred the release date of the film from December, 1st, 2017.” The new date will be revealed soon. Meanwhile, Deepika’s co-star Ranveer Singh, who plays the antagonist Alauddin Khilji, also stood by the film.
