After the election debacle, Janasena President Pawan Kalyan seems to have slowly come out of the election defeat and is gradually becoming active in the public sphere. Pawan Kalyan had extended his support to the movement against Uranium mining in Nallamalla forest which will be an environmental hazard. “Political Parties should realize if they will gift Bangaru Telangana or Polluted Telangana for the coming generations,” Pawan Kalyan questioned on Twitter.
A couple of days ago, Telangana Congress Senior Leader, V Hanumantha Rao met Pawan Kalyan and sought his support for the movement against Uranium Mining in Nallamalla Forest. Uranium mining was an issue concerning both the Telugu States because effluents generated from uranium processing could potentially join the Krishna river nearby, which both states depend on.
