After the election debacle, Janasena President Pawan Kalyan seems to have slowly come out of the election defeat and is gradually becoming active in the public sphere. Pawan Kalyan opposed the Uranium Mining in Telangana as his first issue after the election, and now, he picked up the problems of the construction workers in Andhra Pradesh.

Janasena Political Affairs Committee, which met this morning, has decided to take up a massive rally in Vishakapatnam on November 3rd or 4th. This rally is in solidarity with the construction workers who have lost their livelihood ever since the YSR Congress came to power. There is an acute shortage of sand which brought the construction across the state to a standstill. The situation did not improve even after the government brought in a new Sand Policy early this month. Pawan Kalyan also announced a sub-committee, which will be headed by Thota Chandrasekhar to oversee the rally arrangements. The sub-committee will also seek the necessary police permissions for the rally.

On the other side, there are strong rumors about the Janasenani making a Comeback to Telugu Cinema. They say the official announcement will come early next year. Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena had a forgettable first election as the party just managed to open his account with a Single Seat. Pawan Kalyan himself lost from both the seats he contested. Pawan Kalyan recovered from the defeat and is trying to rejuvenate the party leaders and cadre ahead of the impending local body elections in Andhra Pradesh.
