Mallu Beauty Priya Prakash Varrier has shaken the internet with single a wink in a love song ‘Manikya Malaraya Poovi’ from her debut Malayalam film ‘Oru Adaar Love’. She acquired a huge craze among the filmgoers. On another side of the coin, she is facing legal issues too.

It is known that four cases were filed in different areas including Hyderabad, against the actress and the team for hurting the sentiments of the Muslims. The actress and Director Omar Lulu moved to the Supreme Court against the case registered by Hyderabad Police over the movie.

Today, Oru Adaar Love actress Priya Prakash Varrier and director Omar Lulu got big relief from Supreme Court. After hearings from both sides, the Supreme Court put stay on the FIR filed by a fringe group in Hyderabad, Maharashtra and other states. Two separate FIRs were registered by the Telangana and Maharashtra police at the behest of different groups claiming that the song had offended their religious sentiments of Muslims. It is reported that Supreme Court ordered not to charge any criminal case against the actress & director regarding this song issue.

On the other side, there is a huge demand for the Telugu rights of the film. The Producer is expecting a minimum of 2 Crore which is like very huge for a Malayalam film with no notable cast. If the deal is closed at that rate, it will almost recover the cost of the film production. All Efforts are on to have a simultaneous release in Telugu and Malayalam languages.

Oru Adaar Love is all about the love story of two students and warmth of friendship. The film is slated for grand release in April.
