Raining Films This August

Small and medium range films galore at the box office in Tollywood this August. The month will begin with Sundeep Kishan’s Nakshatram and Sukumar’s Darshakudu this Friday. The race will intensify with the long weekend as Independence Day Special.

Rana Daggubati’s Nene Raju Nene Mantri and Bellamkonda Srinivas and Boyapati Srinu’s Jaya Janaki Nayaka releasing on August 11th. Dhanush’s VIP-2 Tamil version is releasing on the same day but it is not sure if the Telugu version will release simultaneously. Nithin’s Lie was earlier announced on August 11th but now there are reports of a possible postponement. Official confirmation is awaited.

The following Friday will see a horror flick starring Tapsee with unusual theme of ghost fearing humans in Anando Brahma. Also, Kranthi Madhav directed Ungralo Rambabu starring Sunil will also release on the same day.

Naga Chaitanya’s Yuddham Sharanam, Ajith’s Vivekam (dubbing version of Tamil Vivegam) are planning for release on August 24th. On the next day (25th August), Vijay Devarakonda’s Arjun Reddy and Allari Naresh’s Meda Meeda Abbayi (remake of Malayalam hit ‘Oru Vadakkan Selfie) are likely to entertain us. It has to be seen how many films of these will enthrall the audience and mint money for the producers.
