Seems time is not on Super Star Rajinikanth side. His recent films ‘Kochadaiyan’ and ‘Lingaa’ bombed at the box-office. In the meantime distributors and others are dragging him to court in various cases. Madras High Court on Monday served notices to Rajinikanth shocking him to the core. Justice K.Ravichandra babu after hearing on the petition filed by S.Mukanchand Bothra sent notices to Rajinikanth and his daughter’s father- in- law kastoori Raja for allegedly misusing Rajini’s name to take loan from him.Case was posted for hearing after two weeks.
Bothra alleged that Kastooriraja on 2nd, Jan, 2012 borrowed Rs.40 lakhs promising to repay with interest within six months. Later he borrowed another Rs.25 lakhs in July, 2012 promising that either he or his son Dhanush father- in- law Rajinikanth would repay and even executed pronote and two cheques. But with the cheques bouncing back, Bothra complained to Court.
