Romantic Smart hero Arvind Swamy who has stolen the hearts of many girls in 1990’s with blockbusters like ‘Roja’ and ‘Dhalapathi’ has turned into a villain in last year release smashing hit “Dhruva” which stars Mega Power Star Ram Charan in Lead role. Arvind Swamy has won huge appreciation for his menacing performance in Dhruva. He is currently busy with four (or) five huge projects in Tamil.
Reports suggest that this Ram Charan’s Villain recently shocked Tollywood producer with his demand to cast in Telugu film. If we go into details, producer Ram Talluri who bought the remake rights of Tamil film “Bogan” has managed to onboard Mass Maha Raja Ravi Teja as a lead role in this film. The producer wants the villain character to be same as original, so he approached Arvind Swamy who did villain character in the original Tamil version of “Bogan”.
If the grapevine is to be believed, recently producer approached Arvind Swamy to cast in Telugu version of “Bogan” but this hero turned villain shocked producer by demanding the whopping amount of 4 crores as remuneration to act in the film.
Sources shares, “Producer approached the actor to play a baddy in his upcoming supernatural thriller Telugu version “Bogan”, but he reportedly demanded Rs 4 core, leaving producer dumbfounded.”
Sources added, “ Arvind played the villain in the original Tamil film `Bogan’ and producer wanted to repeat him in the Telugu remake, but the Tamil Star quoted an unheard of price for a baddy role in the annals of Tollywood”.
Now the producer is in search of an alternative replacement of an actor. The pre-production and script works are going on full swing. The film is a cop drama with fictional elements. Director Lakshman who helmed the Tamil version will be directing the Telugu version too. The complete details about the project will be revealed soon.
