Rana Daggubati’s period film, 1945 shooting has completed except for 12 days of work which should be done in Sri Lanka. Some scenes and a song are left to be canned. The makers have earlier announced that the film will release for Summer but then now it is said that they are into some trouble. Rana in an interaction with fans on Twitter this morning revealed that there are some problems from the Producer side and he is waiting for those to sort out.
1945 is a Pre-Partition era film. The Daggubati hero plays a soldier of Subhash Chandra Bose’s Azad Hind Fauj (Indian National Army). The drama unfolds at the height of Indian freedom movement. Playing the female lead is actor Regina Cassandra, who will appear in the role of a Chettiar girl, engaged to marry Rana’s character in the movie. Sathyasiva, a newcomer is wielding the megaphone for this movie. 1945 will also have a pan-India release like Rana’s earlier period film, Ghazi. The film has some known stars like Nasser and Satyaraj playing crucial roles in the film. Senior Producer C Kalyan is bankrolling this project on his CK Entertainment Ltd Banner. C Kalyan delivered a hit this year with Balakrishna’s Jai Simha.
