Pawan Kalyan had faced a humiliating defeat on his political debut in the recently concluded general elections in Andhra Pradesh. While Pawan had lost both Bheemavaram and Gajuwaka constituencies, Janasena managed to secure just one seat in the AP Assembly. The other day at a Party Review meeting, Pawan Kalyan alleged that 150 Crore was spent to defeat him in Bhimavaram to make sure that he does not enter the Assembly.
Controversial Director Ram Gopal Varma criticized this statement of Pawan Kalyan. “PK saying he lost becos 150cr given to voters is a real insult to voters bcos he’s saying people who he wants to serve r corrupt. If voters wanted him they could take money from othrs nd still voted him.If PK also has to give money for votes what’s point in being PK? Just asking (sic),” Ram Gopal Varma tweeted.
