All the three Sankranthi releases – Khaidi No 150, Gautamiputra Satakarni and Shatamanam Bhavati are having a field run at the box office. Khaidi No 150 is nearing 2.5 Million Dollars gross, Gautamiputra Satakarni is inching towards 1.5 Million Dollars gross mark while Shatamanam Bhavati has just crossed the half a million mark. The three films have ended up as the biggest Overseas hits of the respective heroes. The word of mouth is decent and is being embraced by the family audience. In Overseas, the movie also has got good reception as it is a film targeted at NRIs. Shatamanam Bhavati is the Prestigious 25th film of Senior Producer, Dil Raju.
On the other side, something interesting has happened in Overseas on Tuesday. Shatamanam Bhavati has collected $44,882. On the other side, Khaidi No 150 has just managed $43,604. Sharwanand’s film has performed better than Chiranjeevi’s movie. Interestingly, Shatamanam Bhavati tickets are just costing $12 each while the tickets of Khaidi No 150 are priced at $18. That indicates more people have watched Shatamanam Bhavati than Khaidi No 150 on Tuesday. Satakarni managed have $68,500.
Back in Telugu States as well, Shatamanam Bhavati is doing very well. The movie has collected about 10.5 Crore Share in its four days run at the box office. The movie is already into the profits zone with the collections of its third day. Dil Raju is minting money big time. The Young Hero released his Express Raja last year amid intense competition (Nannaku Prematho, Dictator and Soggade Chinni Nayana) during Sankranthi but the movie still went on to bag a big hit and So Dil Raju is confident and released the movie even amid the biggies like Gautamiputra Satakarani and Khaidi No 150 for the festival season. Finally, their confidence seems to have worked. Going by the collections, Sharwanand will have two happy Sankranthi seasons on a trot.
