A common opinion among many is, film industry is under the hands of four people but “Genius” movie producer Dasari Arun Kumar says Six people are playing with the lives of small movies and producers. He said, “Our “Genius” has successfully completed 25 days bearing all the troubles. I am feeling the same pain when someone drags the full plate while eating. If these six families continue the same strategy, there will be no one left in industry. I am requesting respected people here to find a solution.” Talking at the same event, Producers Association secretary Maddineni Ramesh stated, “Few powerful producers are killing small cinema by holding most plenty of theatres in their hands. If small producers lose their patience, they will kill all those people who are behind this present day’s worst situation.”
Small ProducerÂ’s may Kill Dil raju, Allu Aravind & others
“Yamudiki Mogudu”, “Ko Ante Koti”, “Sevakudu” and “Genius” which were released just before Sankranthi festival were abruptly pulled out from most of the theatres to accommodate two star heroes’ movies, Naayak & SVSC. With this, the bunch of small time film makers suffered huge financial losses. Producer’s sector president Natti Kumar says, “We won’t tolerate this monopoly anymore. We will complain to CM and see their end.” Their main target was Dil Raju, Allu Aravind and some other producers & distributors who are badly affecting the fortunes of small time films. If the same situation continues, there will be no existence of small and medium budget films.
