Sukumar Reacts on Rangasthalam Copying Allegations

Successful writer turned director Sukumar who is enjoying the gigantic success of ‘Rangasthalam’ has received big shock with Raganasthalam climax copying allegations. Recently Sukumar was accused of plagiarizing ‘Rangasthalam’ movie climax scene where Ram Charan’s Chittibabu character kills Prakash Raj’s character after saving his life in an accident.

Recently, A writer named M Gandhi had filed a complaint with the Telugu Film Writers Association, alleging that Sukumar had copied Rangasthalam’s climax from his script titled ‘Ukkupadam’. The writer’s association sent a letter to Sukumar to give a proper explanation on this allegation.

Sukumar has given clarification to writers association that Rangasthalam’s climax was totally his imagination and that he didn’t copy anyone’s idea. Sukumar added that he always had this idea of a character killing the antagonist after saving his life once in his mind ever since he had watched a film titled ‘Dharma Yuddham’. Sukumar sent his explanation in handwritten letter format. Writer association who received the letter from Sukumar is further examining this issue.

In meanwhile, Sukumar is currently busy in peening the script for his next film with Super Star Mahesh Babu. Happening Production House of Telugu Film Industry, Mythri Movie Makers will bankroll this Sukumar – Mahesh Babu’s film. The film will be the Twenty-Sixth film of Mahesh Babu’s career and will go on floors towards the end of the year.
