Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kaala which was supposed to release on April 27th is postponed to a later date after the strike in the Tamil Film Industry. We are told that the movie will release on June 7th. The audio release event of the film happened recently. The First Look Teaser and the music album of the film failed to create any hype on the film. Hence the Telugu business of the movie is still open. The makers are expecting 40 Crore for the Telugu Rights and as the things stand right now, people are not even ready with 20 Crore Offer. In the worst case scenario, the makers may have to release the film on their own in Telugu.
P.A. Ranjith, who directed the superstar in Kabali is wielding the megaphone for this movie. Kabali is one of the biggest disasters of Indian Cinema. The director would be eager to make amends for the failure of this new film. The project is being produced by his son-in-law Dhanush K Raja on his Wunderbar films Banner. In Kaala, the Superstar plays a slum-lord-turned gangster and the teaser had garnered humongous response among movie buffs. The film has a star cast that includes Nana Patekar, Samuthirakani, Huma Qureshi, Anjali Patil and has music by Santhosh Narayanan who also composed music for Kabali.
