Tharun Bhascker’s Sermons to Review Writers

Young Director Tharun Bhascker’s Second film, Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi released the other day. The movie is aimed at the youth audience and it has got a Mixed Response from the critics which is very much expected. The director, however, did not take it to light those who wrote negative reviews for his film. In an Instagram post, he opined that those who write reviews have zero knowledge on various aspects involved in filmmaking and even went on to suggest that a review should be given by a person who has at least done a film appreciation course. He called the reviewers who wrote negative as horrible and unqualified.

Interestingly it was the same web media which has shouldered his debut movie, Pellichoopulu and ensured that it got maximum publicity. Back then, even Vijay Deverakonda is an unknown entity. But Tharun Bhascker seems to have forgotten all that and is giving sermons to the Reviewers just because there are some negative reviews. These comments did not even earn the respect of the Twitterati as well and they are pointing out that Pellichoopulu is very much inspired by Band Baaja Baarat and Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi by Zindagi Naa Milega Dhobara. We can only hope the young director is not carried away with the success of Pellichoopulu.
