Director: VI Anand
Behind the screens
Sundeep Kishan,Rahul Ravindran’s Tiger directed by VI.Anand hit the screens today in a grand manner. Let us see what impact it made on movie lovers.
Tiger (Sundeep Kishan) and Vishnu (Rahul Ravindran) grow up as good friends. Differences crop between them when Vishnu after inventing his own love story with Ganga from Vararnasi, falls in love with the same girl, after meeting her in their college despite Tiger’s warning. Tiger leaves for Rajamundry when Vishnu says he would be happy without him only to receive shocker that Vishnu met with an accident. To findout more about it, watch the film on silver screen.
Sundeep Kishan tried to assert himself as mass hero. Though he overdid himself in some scenes, he worked hard and impresses with his looks and action. Rahul Ravindran looked good as sincere lover but he needs to improve upon his expressions. Seerath Kapoor looked different in appearance and got limited scope to perform. She turned just average. Ohers like Tagubotu Ramesh, Chitram Seenu, Satya, raghu, Fish Venkat, Kasi Vishwanath, Praveen and Tanikella Bharani played according to their roles.
VI.Anand, protege of Murugadoss came with a film to highlight the value of friendship. He came with waferthin storyline with some comedy and action scenes. Slow pace and No romance between the lead pair puts off movie lovers. Story resembles many old films and first half finishes at snails pace. Director though planned to highlight honor killings, in some scenes he suceeded with his screenplay and direction.
Thaman’s music is average.Placement of songs is not perfect. Background score is good. Cinematography of Chota K Naidu is beautiful. Chota K Prasad’s editing could have been even more crispy. Production values are good.
Tiger entertains to some extent.
