Director Krish created a sensation last year when his film Kanche won the best film award for Telugu at the national level and this year he has delivered a blockbuster in the form of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Landmark 100th film, Gautamiputra Satakarni. The movie is first ever filmed on Satavahana Empire that flourished in both the Telugu States. The movie which released in the Sankranthi season is likely to end up as the first 50 Crore Share film of the actor.
The entire team is busy promoting the movie. In one of the interviews, Krish revealed about his future projects. The director revealed that he has a commitment of a Bollywood film with Akshay Kumar and will also be directing Victory Venkatesh’s 75th project. We are said that Akshay Kumar film may take a while and Krish may do Venkatesh’s film prior to that. The ace director reportedly not only finalized the script but also the title. He even readied the First Look poster of the film and will release it once Venkatesh gives his nod. Krish has flown to the United States for the promotions of Gautamiputra Satakarni and the official announcement of the project will happen once he is back.
On the other side, Venkatesh has finished the shooting of his next, Guru. the First Look Teaser of Guru released as the actor’s Birthday Special last month struck the chord with the audience. The Remake Project may now release on April 7th as Summer Special. The movie was first planned for Christmas Release and was later pushed to Sankranthi Season. But then Sankranthi is also missed and the alternate release date of January 26th (as Republic Day Special) has also become crowdy. The exact release date will be announced by the makers in a couple of months or so.
