Kodandarmi Reddy’s son Vaibhav who maded his debut with ‘Godava’ later starred in films like ‘Kasko’, ‘Action 3D’ and ‘Anamika’. His film ‘Pandavullo Okadu’ will be releasing on July, 24th. Film directed by Shankar’s protege Karthik is produced by Maruthi. Vaibhav speaking to scribes said the film’s story which revolves around five friends who oppose love of the hero, spellbound even ace director Shankar. Film is a re-make of Tamil hit ‘Kappal’ and Vaibhav said he hoped the film will attract Telugu movie lovers and bring good offers for him.
Vaibhav said it was mere coincidence that he is doing more films in Tamil and promised to concentrate in both languages. He said his father is ready to do as many films with him but he asked him to prove himself. He said he will soon direct a film after three years. He said, he started his career as assistant director for Puri Jagannath’s ‘Amma Naanna O Tamil Ammayi’ and ‘Sivamani’ but felt he did not give any job out of respect for his father.
