Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu Movie Review

Movie: Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu

Rating: 1.5/5.0

Writing and Direction: Indrasena

Behind the Scenes:

Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu poses an interesting scenario. All the lead roles of the film – Sree Vishnu, Nara Rohit, and Sudheer Babu are struggling and in need for a big hit. The movie which released three days in advance in the USA is releasing today. Let us see how Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu is received by the audience:

Storyline:

Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu story consists of three crime sub-plots which run in parallel. The main plot is about a missing plane carrying Indian cricketers and celebrities, the second is about series of child kidnaps happening in Hyderabad city and the last one is about a young boy’s complain about his missing home. How Deepak Reddy(Nara Rohit), Neelima (Shriya Saran), Vinay (Sudheer Babu) and Sree Vishnu fit in this setup? What is the relation between these plots and what happens, in the end, forms the rest of the story.

Star Shine:

Sree Vishnu who is usually seen in soft roles until now tried something different in this film with a complete makeover. However, his character is poorly etched with no logic and dialogue delivery is poor. Nara Rohit is good as an efficient investigative officer and Sudheer Babu is decent as SI Vinay but the dubbing did not suit him. Sudheer Babu has got the lengthier role than the other two heroes. Shriya Saran is okay in a limited role.

Technical:

Director Indrasena did a terrible job with the film. Except for the concept of the film, there is nothing that went right from his part. The narration is bland and several scenes are illogical. Mark K Robinson’s Music is very disappointing and the background score is just okay. Editing is totally missing as a good portion of both the halves can be edited. The cinematography is okay here and there. Production Values of some short films coming these days are much better than this.

Analysis:

Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu starts with some promise in the first fifteen minutes or so. As there are three sub-plots in the film, things get complicated as one by one of them are revealed. There are many illogical scenes, patience-testing narration, and too much of gore making the audience struggle in their seats. The twist which gets revealed towards the end is somewhat interesting. As a whole, Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu is a forgettable experience for all the three heroes and also for the audience who watched it.
