Vishwaroopam 2 Gets Shock in Bollywood

Universal Hero Kamal Haasan is getting ready to show his power at the box office with his long-awaited film ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ sequel for his controversial film Vishwaroopam released in 2013. The tri-lingual film is getting ready to hit the big screens soon.

It is known that recently the Telugu and Tamil versions of this film has completed its censor formalities and both languages regional censor board members passed the film with ‘U/A’ certificate with minor cuts. But now the shocking news has come out that Vishwaroopam 2 censor shock in Bollywood.

According to sources, Hindi version of the film is facing censor hurdles, Censor Board refused to certify the film. To complicate things, Censor Board asked for 17 cuts to pass the film with U/A certificate.

A source shares “The film has been passed with a ‘U/A’ certificate in Tamil and Telugu. In Hindi, the jury is divided. Some want to give it a ‘U/A’ and that too with 17 cuts.”. Source added “We can’t have a uniform code of censorship for the whole country. The Tamil, Telugu and Hindi versions of Vishwaroopam have to be censored as three independent films because every language comes with its diverse cultural background.”

The movie is said to be spy thriller on global terrorism simultaneously being made in the Hindi language along with Tamil. It is Written and directed by Kamal Haasan which features himself alongside Rahul Bose, Pooja Kumar, and Andrea Jeremiah, reprising their roles.  The makers delayed the movie because of the problem from production. Ascar Ravichandran was supposed to produce the movie but Kamal Haasan overtook the production.
