Yesteryear’s Heroine Clarifies on Her Daughter Debut

Yesterday rumours mills circulated wide in media circles as yesteryear’s popular actress Gauthami’s daughter Subbalakshmi is all set to make her entry into films. The news speculated ace Tamil director Bala will introduce Subbalakshmi to Kollywood industry with his undergoing Tamil film ‘Varma’ which is a remake of Telugu blockbuster hit ‘Arjun Reddy’.

Hero Vikram’s son Dhruv Vikram in making his entry into the industry with this film and buzzes spread as Subbalakshmi will pair up with Dhruv in this remake film. But, Gauthami made it clear that Subbalakshmi is not yet ready to make her entry into films.

Just a few minutes ago, one of the popular news daily reported that Gauthami trashed out all as rumours and says Subbalakshmi is not yet ready to enter into films.  It will take some more time for Subbalakshmi kick-start her film journey. Finally, Gauthami says No to ‘Arjun Reddy’ remake for her daughter.

So, Gauthami’s daughter is not romancing with Dhruv in ‘Varma’. Looks like the makers are yet to zero in on the female lead. Vikram’s son Dhruv will reprise Vijay Deverakonda’s role as an alcoholic medical surgeon. The makers’ kick-started the shoot at Kathmandu in Nepal a couple of weeks earlier and wrapped the first schedule a few days ago. ‘Varma’ is likely to release by the end of this year.

This film is being produced by E 4 Entertainment, National Award-winning director Raju Murugan penned dialogues and ace director Bala directing the film. This film already acquired huge craze in Kollywood. Watch this space for more updates.
